buy complete changeover or buy parts by part?
I'm trying to decide what to do, my plans are to drop in H22 this fall a dream project i have been long waiting for, plus i miss the ol H22A.
the question im asking is will i be better off getting the complete changeover JDM H22A which has motor, trans, ecu, wires, intake and blah blah.. or get long block motor within next month or 2 and trans the other month, then part by part like ecu, wire harness, clutch, flywheel, etc?
which should i go with?
car which this engine is going in is my 95 civic hatch

i bought my h22 as a complete changeover... its pretty well priced at hmotorsonline.com for 2200.... i would suggest that unless you can find all the parts for cheaper... then i would do that

I suggest buying a complete swap so you don't nickel & dime yourself to death.
If your interested i'm selling a complete K20A2 swap, low mileage and more important low price.
E-mail me or PM me for more info.

Re: buy complete changeover or buy parts by part? (VTECR021)
another question, what is the grand total i would need to spend? lets say i already have the complete changeover.
I will be doing all the work by myself with some help from couple friends. I have air tools, several tools, dremel tool, but no welder.
