Default ls/vtec quetsion?

I was wondering if you could use the ls windage tray with the gsr girdle with the ls oil pan or do you have to run the gsr girdle windage tray and the oil pan. I would imagine that i could use the ls windage tray with the girdle. but will the girdle make the clearance??
thanks
chris

Depends if its a short ram or cold air, and what car you are putting it in. For an eg, some cold airs will not line up...because the throttle body is lower on the gsr than b16-type r, etc, the angle going towards the hole in the engine bay is too much to make it work. For Integras it probably won't matter too much.

AEM has answered this problem with their hybrid intakes. (type r in EG, gsr in EG)

All short rams should work

i have a 94 ls teg and i have a 96 gsr head. i do realize that the gsr manifold curves down and the ls manifold is SUPER tall. also i am not sure if the size of the head between the ls and gsr are the same size. (eg height) so if put that gsr head on, i am assuming that it will be pretty much like the size of a gsr motor. therefore is where i assumed i needed a gsr cai. or am i assuming wrong?
