hey guys,
the other day I was just checking over my engine one more time before it is ready to be put in and i saw this!

I dont know what happened, but do you guys have any suggestions as to what i should do? Has this happened to anyone before? All of your help would be appreciated! Thanks

 

It's hard to tell by the pic but did the plastic part of the sensor break off? You can always unscrew the sensor and replace it.

 

Same things happened to mine, the plastic part broke off into the plug. At the moment im just driving it with the busted knock sensor

 

same here i have to get a new one how much do they run?

 

Back when I broke mine, I found them to be between $25-75 used.
