Default Building 1.9L B16

Im not sure if i am posting this in the right catagory but i need some help. Im in the process of building up a b16 with an Ls crank ( the 1.9L stroker kit). Im taking a machining class an I want to bore it (84mm) an hone it, the works. However, I dont know where I can get the specs on the B16a1 an the Ls crank. I have a few general questions. First of all, dose anyone know if Im going to have to bore the crankshaft centerline of the b16 to fit the Ls in? An Im planning on building it up for a turbo, so ofcourse i'll be using forged rods and pistions(custom pistons and Ls rods ofcourse). I just want to get some info about the set up before i get to involved in it. i wanna do it right ya know. oh an another question, I have been thinking about sleeving it or buying a deck guard for the block. Although many people say that this isnt needed, an that sleeves are a waste of money. So im just looking for some help or tips in building this project. Help me out.

you will have to sleeve it to get a 84mm bore..i believe the mains are the same on b16 and ls cranks so it shouldnt be a problem

The mains should be fine. I just storked my B16A to a 2.0L. I am using an LS Crank. I would highly suggest getting it sleeved.

Safty precautions. Add strength to the block. 84mm is larger for these blocks. Are you going N/A or are you going to turbo it? If you stay N/A I think just the block guard is fine.
