I just redid my harness to clean it up some.. H22 in 98Ek and this happened before but stoped.. but The oil light blinks in and out alot .. i dunno only thing i think of is i have the Vtec oil wire. hooked up to the Vtec wire cause i have no sen but other then that i have no idea.. ?? any help

i have plenty of oil it stays on at a stop but flickers when i hit the gas

 

Make sure oil pressure sensor is connected. Any codes?

 

yeah its all hooked up.. no codes only 23

 

still blinking light? Sounds like the oil pressure sensor is disconnected or is broken.

I have the same problem in my 90 DX. I think I have it narrowed down to
"dirty pick-up screen" or "oil pump relief valve sticking in it's bore"

loose connector or a short in a wire....

 

my friends oil light was blinking too... when we put a machanical gauge on it.. the most it would read was 38psi... tore the motor and all the main bearings and crank were fucked... rods ok...

needless to say .. id get it checked to be on the safe side. dont always blame the sendor.
