Default Benefits of this swap

What would be the benefit of swapping out my d16z6 for a b20b in my 93 civic coupe aren't they around the same go? I wanna do this swap but is it worth it or should i go for a larger engine if I want more hp

The B20B will make significantly more torque... and the HP will be nominally improved unless you get the high compression version. The swap weighs about 135 pounds more than a D-series engine/trans package, so you have to remember that some of your new found HP will be used to tote the extra heft.

Worth it... only you can decide. Larger and more powerful engines make the decision much easier with respect to the gains being more dramatic compared to the D16Z6... but they will be a more expensive solution.

I'm definitely going to go turbo that's For sure I'm trying to get At least 220hp what turbo kit would you prefer I'm thinking about a greddy turbo kit. Would i be able to get those numbers with a b20b and a gsr trans i probably have to go low compression right ?

The supercharged hatchback is a "B" series... the H22 civic is a straight "H", no H to B conversion.
