b20vtec
i plan on getting a b16 head, i heard that the valves will nick the pistons of the b20? if so, where can u get pistons that will not nick the valves, and can u use the bottom end of the b20?

Re: b20vtec (importlegions)
will the stock internals be able to handle the higher revline or was he mistaken when he said i had to get that fixed to, if i got a vtec controller and only let it rev to 7200, would that be a safe fix?

Re: b20vtec (importlegions)
Ok I will set u all straight there is not much clearance between the valves and pistons so dont advance or retard the timing to much and stock gsr cams will nick the pistons so have a machince shop make the valve relief bigger or get new pistons and the b20 block cant be ran 2 hard it can only withstand 6000rpm u have to change the rod bolts to some out of a gsr or engine built to wind in the 8500 range this is from my experience so be careful and do it right
