Default B20A5 Vtec???

I recently picked up a B20A5 out of a 91 Prelude Si. I was wondering if you can convert these things to VTEC like the B20B/Z's...It seems that everyone does the cr-vtec's and never use the B20A5. Why is this? Is it not the same block? There must be a reason no one uses them. Also, if it is possible, once done will it swap into my 93 civic ex? If anyone knows anything about the B20A5 please help, it would be greatly appreciated.
