Will a B20a5 i think out of an older prelude work as the block for a b20 vtec

Also will GSRtranny bolt to it

No, all most nothing will bolt or interchangable with that motor!

No, that B20 is a bastardized B20.

It can be done, I've seen it done, but there's a lot of modification needed to make a B16 head fit onto a B20A block, and is not worth it nor reliable IMO (from what I've seen first hand on a couple of cars).

Thanks for the help I have a friend that said I could have the car for free seen the b20 and got curious

So is that motor garage or what I mean I can get it for free should I just use i for spare bolts or not waste my time
