b18c1 -> EK o2 sensor question
ok i just swapped a 97 b18c1 into my 96 honda EX using the 96 ex wire harness and the 97 gsr ECU. my question is what do i plug the 4 wire o2 sensor plug into? because the stock 96 ex motor had the o2 sensor on the front of the header but the b18c1 doesnt have one. is the o2 sensor located somewere else or is there not one?
oh yea there is also 1 vacuum hose coming from the cruise control. what do i do with it?
thanx

The stock GSR manifold doesn't have a spot O2 sensor, it's in the cat. converter (both O2's are for OBD2). You can have a muffler shop drill a hole(s) into your exhaust piping and weld on a threaded nut that the O2 sensor(s) can thread into. You could also get an aftermarket cat with 2 O2 sensor holes.

You can "T" the line into another vacuum line if there is no spot for it or you can also remove the cruise control system completely.

Re: (B18C1 '96 Coupe)
Ok here it goes Kinda hard to see but I hope you can see how it runs.
start from the CC controller
take that vacuum line and follow that
Then go to the very top by the winsheild. and there should be some kinda of connector
Then you should be able to go into the manifold from there. you dont need to use checkvalves taht s all we had liening around so we closed the valves.
I really need to get a longer VAcuum line but I dont tend to care right now becaeu my B18B1 is going in

great pics thnx. that helps alot.
VTECVillain - ok so basically im screwed right now. does OBD1 use 2 O2 sensors? if not i think ill go that route

If you run an OBD1 ECU, you only need to use 1 O2 sensor. It's better for tuning and performance reasons, get yourself and OBD2 to OBD1 ECU adapter harness and an OBD1 P72 ECU.

B18C1 '96 Coupe - i thought i understood what you did but its not really clear in the last pic. do i have to someone connect the vaccum from the CC unit to the intake manifold?
if you have any more pics of the last step that would help alot. thnx.
