Re: b18c (TheGeneral)
its suppose to be jdm, it has the lsd tranny and over sized intake and exhaust manifolds, red valve cover that appears to have never been removed

That doesn't mean anything. Just because you put a read valve on something doesn't make it JDM. A B18C is a Vtec motor (I believe). I have an ITR motor, the block should read B18C5 and then the code underneath it.

B18C can either be a Type-R or SiR-G motor. Looking for the red valve cover, if it hasn't been changed. Also, look at the intake manifold. Snail-like = SiR-G, Skunk2-like (well, they designed it after the ITR manifold) = Type-R. Also, the head cast numbers. P72 = SiR-G, and PR3-x = Type-R.

Thanks for the information man.
Didn't know about the different intake manifolds and the head cast numbers.

well, youre half right. Japanese integra motors dont have the 5th digit. the JDM B18C could be either GSR or Type R.

Also, not sure on the GSR having an LSD tranny, but I think it does.
