Default b18b1 bottom end?

Ok i have a b16 currently under boost (w/stock sleaves) and have a feeling that it's on it's way out. Here is my question: I found a b18b1 (is this an ls or gsr block?) will it work with my b16a2 head? Thx

a b18b is a ls engine. it will work with gsr oil pump, ls/vtec oil line....it will work w/ a b16a2 head with modifications, just search for how to build ls/vtec

yes ,,, its called a Ls/vtec...... It would also be on its way out just as soon as your b16a if not built correctly ....... As from what i read it cost about $5000 dollars to build a Ls/vtec or Crv/vtec "the correct way"..... But who knows...
