I have a b18a1(obd0) that im going to drop into my 97 civic ex. I've got the block right now. What kind of upgrades should i do to the block while its out of the car. My hp goals are 300-400 hp. I will prolly turbo it down the road but i want to reinforce the internals to handle that much hp as this will be my DD. I want to build it right the first time and have it last, but i dont want to go overboard

 

If you are in CA I doubt you will be able to get it through smog like that.

 

You would need to probably get an obd1 ecu and distributor
