Default B18A vs B18B

HP/TQ-wise... wiring... etc. Are there any differences? Seems like B18Bs are a lot more common.

the 90-91 b18a puts out 130 hp,the 92-93 puts out 140 hp and the 95+b18b puts out 142--the b18b has a better head with bigger ports and a better intake manifold--shorter runners and the diameter of the runners is a little bigger..there are a few wiring diffeences, but nothing major--my 95 b18b plugged right into my 91 integra harness--the major difference is the plugs--obd0 to obd1 or 2--and i think the ccolant temp sensor is in a different place(on the thermostat housing on the b18b)

From the stats it sounds like the B18B is the better choice then. No matter if the wiring's harder as long as it can be done.

I chose a B18A block for my project as they are cheap and fairly easy to find.
