yeah i used the civic cable. You have to fab a small bracket and then it can be used, not hard at all.

everything does fit..but the Civic throttle cable is about 1-2 inches shorter

Have you swapped the motor yet? It doesn't sound like it. Is it a c5 or a c1 motor? If it is the c5, then I don't know why it wouldn't since I have a skunk2 im and my cable worked fine. The motor orientations are the same (they are not any wider than mine and they sit at the same angle), so if it is the c5 then it should fit just fine.

The motor is a B18B1...It's put in and everything is plugged up...Just that the bracket on the motor sits too far to the driver side...So with the Civic throttle cable; it won't reach the throttle body....It's about 1-2 inches short of the throttle body..

nope, all you do is twist out that piece from the firewall and go behind the pedal and release then cable then slide the other one on.
