Default B18 not going pass 4k rpm

I plugged up the herness and it wont rev pass 4k rpm harness is from 2000si on a 00' EK with a B18C1

hows your tps? wat ecu are you running? check those, cause if you swapped any of them out that might be wats wrong

trottle positioning sensor, check it, and i dont know much bout that ecu, or if it run coo with the gsr, but one thing id like to know is wat type of motor is it ob1 or 2?

Well its a 95' b18c1 (gsr) Obd1 engine the si ecu works fine with it at least thats what ive heard and about that sensor? were is it located ? and if you can what the color scheme for the cables that should plug up to it?

its located on the trottle body

i think you should try to proper ecu, with an obd2 to obd1 jumper harness.


It could possibly just be running in limp mode,

Does it seem sluggish all the way to the 4k limit?

I think it was on limp mode but after messing around and pluggin up a computer erasing the error codes it runs fiine now! thanks for your help ima keep the original gsr ecu just incase thanks man
