Re: b16a3 in 92 vx (DELSLOWEST)
doing the same thing right now.
you can use the old vx harness, just need to extend air temp sensor wire...add knock sensor, rewire from 5 wire to 4 wire O2....most of these you can get from searching...b18c5-eh2 covered some parts of wiring and KATMAN's wiring info definitely helped. just go to http://technet.ff-squad.com
as for parts get b series everything...motor(complete longblock with all sensors intact), tranny, axles & halfshaft(integra 94-01), shiftlinkage (integra 94-01 or 99-00 si) motor mounts (driver side upper mount, rear bracket- has to be from 94-01 integra 5-speed, front tranny stopper bracket, all the mounts are from the vx)
pretty much set... for wiring you'll have two extra plugs that will be left unused but dont panic.....its the egr- plug right next to the distributor - and the purge solenoid valve behind the intake manifold.
hope this helps

You can use the DOHC wiring harness on the B16A3 - no problem - but - since you have a VX, and depending on what ecu you plan to use, you'll need to wire in the knock sensor from the ecu plug (D3) out to the passenger side shock tower plug, and no further since the DOHC Delsol harness has the KS prewired already. THis is all if you plan to use a genuine DOHC VTEC ecu such as a P30 ecu. If you go with a reprogrammed P28 ecu, you don't need to wire in the KS at all....P28's have a disabled KS.
