<holding back >

Basically it involves machining to relocate the cylinder head dowels, plugging the Vtec feed port in the cylinder head deck, running an external Vtec oil feed line, using an ECU that can control the Vtec mechanisms, and a few other points that can easily be found using the search button
(upper right corner of this page )

I really suggest researching this project quite a bit before asking general questions like above. Specific questions are usually answered but the general ones will bring you the "hellfire". Just a suggestion. Plus it is my opinion as well as many others that if you are opting to go for an LSVT engine, you should to do it right if at all. The right build has been discussed many times and is easily found in H-T.

"H-T a great resouce and balanced part of you daily Honda needs."

sorry bout the broad question, I actually did try searching the site a few times but didn't come up with anything, a local friend of mine says he knows what needs to happen also, basically I have a B16A 2nd gen turbo in my ride now, I want to start building a bullet proof short block for my setup so I can raise the boost to some out of control level, so basically knowing that it can be done is enough info that I can buy some parts... I'm coming from an old school rear drive V8 world, but have seen the light, and plan to build the baddest civic on the east coast!!!!! great site... plan on chatting much here!!!

I completely agree with these guys! Research , research research! I researched it for about 6 months before I finally built my b20vtec.
Good luck
