b16A1 vs. b16A2
why must i put a b16a2 in my 2000 ex? why can i choose the cheaper b16A1? i know that the computers are different and they use different cables. but what else is different?

dont be a cheap ***.
cams are weaker, clutch is cable driven ecu is OBD0 etc etc
its not worth it, it will cost you as much to put a first gen b16 in.
and the motor is over 10 years old.

You'll spend getting random parts to work with an old b16 cable (ewwww) then a newer b16.
JDM spec is much improved vs. USDM BTW.
Will bolt right up as PnP. Few modifications, such as shift linkage.

look at his list of mods. and hes trying to b cheap mother ****** gettin a 1st gen B16a. just ban his *** now. dumbfuck.
not everybody comes out of the womb knowing everything
it was a legit question. he just didnt know what the diffrence was.

it's hard to make money now and i am just trying to minimize my spending. but since building up cars is my biggiest hobby so i am willing to spend a little more on it. but the main purpose of this post was that i wanted to know the difference between the 2 motors. please dont be harsh just becuz i am new to this forum. although u have more posts than i do, doenst mean that u know more than i do.

theres ur list of mods on ur car yet i repeat, ur worried about 1300 difference in motors, come no now, get with the program. about 3k on turbo parts, over 2k in suspension ****, and a race seat w/ guages, my god, definitely a cheap ***, yeah right.

in my post i asked,"why can i choose the cheaper b16a1?" i asked this question becuz i dint know they differ this much. since they have close hp output so i was wondering if the b16a1 is a pennysaver. but it turned out that they differ a lot and the b16a2 can actually save more in turns. so u see, i was trying to be cheap. i was trying to learn. please have respect!

I was considering a first gen till i realized how much it was gonna cost to get running.
he is just learning cut him some slack.

This is the question he asked, just leave it at, "don't be cheap, go for a little better and get a lot more". All that needed to be said. Post count, and percentage doesn't mean too much, and none is this case.
