Default b16a swap cost

what should I plan on spending on a good b16a 1st gen long block?

it seems everybody around here is trying to sell them for 1100 or more..

isnt that a bit too much?

I can find a b16 cable tranny for 250 I'm jumping on that..

what else is needed? shift linkage, harness and ecu?

I got my 100% legit with papers B16a complete conversion for 1100.00 shipped.

Motor/tranny axles linkage knuckles ecu and a bunch of other stuff too.
Kid was desperate to get rid of it.

1200.00 is about all I would pay for the pre-obd B16's. Otherwise worth your time just to get a H22 longblock and go H2B.
