Default b16a swap

Just remembered, i was originally looking to do a b16a swap (obd o from 88-91? or 92...?) swap (it's on hmotorsonline's site, 1150 swap) into my 94 civic dx. they siad it wont bolt right in. does this mean i woudl need new motor mounts or what? what would i need to make this work, or will it? I could really use the $1000 that i'd save getting this engine but if it's a lot of work and shiz, ill get the 2299 swap (SiR 2) from hmotors. any input helps, thanks

No, it will not. The trans is a cable and your is hydro. You need to get the a Hasport hydro to Cable (if it is out) or get a Hydro trans. The older motors will have more miles and/or sit in a junkyard for longer.

Well, You can make it work, but it is have much of a hassle you want. You have to sell the Trans and axles (and other stuff). I would just get the SiR II swap.

Listen to turbogixxer. You WILL NOT save $1000 after buying all the necessary parts to make the motor fit and operate properly. Just buy the second gen B16A hydro swap.

1st gen swaps can also be 5 million series.

How do you know it's an 'SIRII' swap by looking at it? Since you can get a 91 civic SiR II and a 95 civic SiR II.

Get the right swap for your car and get the OBD1/hydro B16A.
