will the b16a head on b18c1 block be a direct swap and if not what is different it will go into a 95 civc with the gsr already in it and i dont have any probs, what will the outcome be how will low end and top end be
the head is a 99 si head on a 95 block

It will work fine. But if you don't replace your pistons, your compression is going to be lower due to the shape of the pr-3 combustion chamber. Around 9.8:1.
I'm not sure how well it will perform compared to a stock gsr motor. My guess is it would prbably be slower with less low end torque.

the 99 head would be obd-2 so you would have to get an obd1 manifold with all the obd-1 sensors and stuff. but yes, its a direct bolt on. people here commonly refer to it as a "poor mans type r"

that's what you call a poor man's type r....correct?

yup

Yea, this is what I am doing as well. Make sure you raise compression as was already suggested and upgrade valvetrain. If you're using a 99 head then the valve train most likely won't have a horrid amount of mileage on it but it's always good to upgrade for more power.
I'm hoping to push 200hp out of my setup.

you dont have to change the intake manifolds just a couple of plugs on ur wire harness and also just the obd2 injector plugs

Well, if you're using a 99 Si intake manifold in an obd 1 car, you're going to have to tap it for an IAT. The civic Si has it located on the intake arm, where as the obd 1 cars have it located on the intake manifold.
