B16A almost done...throttle cable
So my friends and I got the motor put back together and into the car tonight and its resting on the mounts for the time being.
The first thing we noticed was that the throttle cable from the D16 was too short. I got the motor from HMO, should it have come with a new cable or is this one suppose to fit. If it doesn't, I need to get a B-series one?
Another thing we're worrying about now is how to actually go about getting the knock sensor wired up. How'd you guys do it? We know the pinout on the ECU, but HOW did you do it?
Thanks in advance
Chris

on my swap all i did was custom make a bracket out of a pice of metal I had laying around all you need is to make a couple of hole s on a piece of strip of metal (maybe 1inx1/8x2-3in)and you bolt the original braket to that basically what you are doin is extending the bracket so that the throttle cable ajuster can reach. as for the knock sensor if you already know where it goes on the ecu then just pull out a pin that you don't need (ac/or ps)and quick connect it to pice of wire and connect it to the knock sensor it really is'nt that hard.this is for a secon gen b16 in a 93 civic

on my crx i got the integra throttle cable but it still wasnt the right length so then i did just what was posted above where i bolted the bracked to a piece of metal then bolted the metal to the manifold.
