B16A; Integra xsi vs civic engine, what is the difference
I am looking to get a b16a, I was wondering what is the difference between the b16a that comes with the integra xsi vs the one that comes from a civic. year 93 and higher.

As long as the XSi motor is OBD1, there are no differences in the motor. 170hp/10.4:1
The XSi will have a PR3 ecu and the Civic will have a P30 ecu. Also, the mounts will be different.
Just be careful because the XSi came in an automatic version. Make sure you get the right ecu.

Just to clarify, automatic was an option. There were manuals also.
The automatic PR3 ecu has settings that compliment the auto tranny, lower revlimit, different fuel maps.

Finally some correct info about the XSi.
Also keep in mind the XSi could have either generation B16a depending on what year it is which is around 10hp difference
