Default B16 w/VX Fuel pump lean?

With my JDM B16 in my 92 VX my 1/4 mph was 94 with a 14.4 et. I think the mph seems a little low. My friend seems to think running a stock VX fuel pump would cause me to run lean in the top end.
I know timeslips can't really give you a idea on if I need a new fuel pump but with a stock vx pump should it lean out enough to drop the mph in the longer gears?

I planned on going to a gsr/ls pump soon but if that's a major problem maybe sooner than I thought. Thanks!

i doubt it, I have been running a CX pump which is the same as all other 92-5 civic on all the swaps from 100whp 1.5l to build 1.8l, and no it doesn't run lean.

mph depend on many factors, best would be to dyno with lamba meter to determine the mixtures you're running. before going and spending the time and $$$ check the plugs, check other components.

btw. 94mph and 14.4 isn't that bad for the mods you have

I just don't want to have many weak links in my fuel system and I would love to go a little faster with the current combo. Plugs need to be changed but I have new plug wires. I may try to get some dyno time to get some baseline numbers. If I have the money maybe a run with a wideband o2.
Also running a P30, vtec x-over is 6,000 or 6,100 rpm. Would there be any advantage to moving it down since i'm running a lighter car with basic mods? I know most chipped p28's have it at 5200 or 5500 but i've heard of them running slower than with a stock ecu.

Mugen vs. Spoon program (slightly massaged stock program within 1-2whp), to say the least Mugen will own any P30 (usdm/jdm or euro)

5400-5800, seems as best vtec switchover for stocked cammed B16a
