b16 swap question

it was an obd1 swap going into my 99 cx. here are a few of the problems i am having.
the crank angle sensor in obd1 cars is in the distributor. on obd2b it's in the oil pump so to solve this i am converting to obd1. that would solve the problem correct?
next one is the distributor. on non vtec 99-00 civics they have a different distributor plug from what i have found (please correct me if i am wrong) compared to vtec 99-00 civics. so to get the 99-00 civic si plug to work i just need to use the plug from a si and repin it into my cx harness?
please help me with these few questions and any other wierd things i might have missed.
