b16 SirII swap in my 91 teg Need Help
Ok, heres the deal, its been in the car for a while about 3k miles. Running ok, but really rich beacause I didnt have a vtec computer in. As of right now it idles low around the first hash mark on the tack, feels like its missing (distributor problems) and eats through gas. It will only idle tho after about 5 minutes of driving or if I hold the gas for a lil bit. I finally got a obd 0 pr3 today, and its giving me code 5 for the map sensor. I have expected this since I didnt know what to hook up my map sensor. So thats on of the issues, also I have my fans wired to a switch. I cannot locate the Coolant tempeture sensor. Nor do I know which wire goes to it.
I appriciate all help but Ive been sitting in my chair all day searching honda-tech and Im not getting anywhere.
If anyone has done this swap before on there DA please give me some help.
Its giving me currently code 5, 6, and 1. redlines at 7500
I need to know where the coolant tempeture sensor is and what wires plug into it, and where all these vacum lines go. PLEASE HELP!

I'll offer a little help. The coolant temp sensor should be on the side of your head underneath the distributor. The wire should be a single little plug looking one that inserts directly onto the sensor...no clip.
As far as the vacuum lines go...I didn't run a lot of mine. I took out the charcoal canister, and ran one for the MAP sensor off of the IM, and one for the FPR. I believe I capped off the rest of them. Minus the obvious ones. I don't have the engine in front of me right now, so I can't remember all of them.
You need one hose to be plugged into your IM for the MAP sensor, and of course the sensor plugged in. I had a similar problem when I did a B18B1 swap, and the car idled poorly and sucked fuel. Check to be sure your MAP is good.

Ok I rechecked every thing for the map sensor and re routed the lines. No check engine light or code. The only thing still in question is the coolant temp sen. My friend said there is one in the back of the engine, but cannot remember where. Does anyone know where the second one is?
