b16 rubbing hood

Default b16 rubbing hood

does anyone have any pointers of how to stop my valve cover from rubbing on my hood? i have a b16 in a civic coupe.

get better torque mounts...or the up and down mounts where the ac bracket is and on the opposite side the tranny front mount...

or prop your hood up...haha

Or cut out the piece of the hood that it is hitting on. Stock hood or CF? I have the same problem, but dont want to deal with it. So it rubs a little bit.

It's a stock hood. i have hasport mounts. really doesn't get much better than that.

if is just rubbing on the skeleton of the hood cut out a piece of it. my friends engine hit his CF during hard acceleration. its cracked now. nice star right above where it was hitting.

will work but then the hood lines wont mach with the fenders

your running all the mounts right? all 5 of them? not just the three bling bling hasport ones?
