HAS ANYONE HAD A PROBLEM W/ THEIR HOOD PROP???
i have a 92 hatch and the hood prop is on the drivers side of the hood (as most people know) i left the hood up for a day or so and when i shut the hood it seemes like the hood prop bent my hood up about 1/4 of an inch! i can fit my pinky finger in the gap! i tried to take the hood off and fix the bracket but it didn't do anything! HELP if you have had this problem

that happens to my cf hood if i leave it propped up on the position that makes the hood lower. If I leave it in the position where the hood is almost vertical, it is ok.

my brothers civic did that too. i found out that it needed a new spring. you should try that. you can find a stronger spring at the hardware store, home depot. one of the two.

it probably bent the hinge so close the hood and push down where the hinge is and see how it looks

I took the hood off of the hinge and it looked fine but as soon as i put it back on the gap was there again. And i have no clue where the SPRING is???

Our hood was popped for 11 months straight while working on the car. Now the hood is bent from all the flex.
