B16 crx wiring/sensors questions
O.k let me start off by saying thanx for any information/ advice given to me.
I was having quite a bit of trouble with my CRX. I swapped in a b16A2 (obd2) into my ’88 CRX dx (obd0) .
It was converted obd1 ( they cut the ecu plus )
It was running fine when I had my D16Z6
I swapped in my b16 and turned it, the RPM’s fluctuated.
I sent my P28 to phearable.net to get the b16 base map.got it back and it turned over nicely and started/ sounded just like it should.
BUT! When I put it in gear ONLY and gave it some gas the RPM’s fluctuated. wtf!?
Oh by the way I have it on jack stands. Lol . when its idle its fine, its only when its in gear .
SO I figured the problem is going to lye withing the wiring. What NEEDS/Must be connected from the B16(obd2) if my CRX is converted Obd1 ( dizzy/ecu, still running resistor box)
I noticed 2 wires coming from the pully side which seems to lead to the oil pan those wires are not connected. Also where can I find the infamous Knock Sensor and do I need to wire up?

Re: B16 crx wiring/sensors questions
I'd almost bet money on it that the TPS and MAP sensor plugs are switched. This is a very common and easy mistake. Try switching the plugs
