Default b16/CRX pros.....calling for assistance

ok, first off ive never done one of these but a good friend is willing to pay on this so i told him i would take it on.

car: 89 dx
motor: b16a1 with cable tranny

here are my concerns. First i have been told that the axles dont work out correctly. I have been told some are 26 spline and some are 29. the 26 being found on 4sp models and the 29 being on the 5sp's. can anyone verify this??

Also, what about the concerns with the additional sensors such as a knock sensor and the vtec pressure solonid? Is this stright forward as if doing a swap on a newer car?

I have also been told that particular mounts are needed from HAS? iS this true>?

exhaust /header fitment concerns; I have heard nothing but mixed stories about this. Someone lay down whats going to be needed to have a header and what is needed.

any support is appruciated
TIA

You will be fine since the car is a DX. The splines will match the 90-93 Integra axles which should be used with the matching intermediate shaft.

No different from any other car. Get the pinouts and wire them up

HASport, Place Racing, and HCP are the 3 main motor mount manufacturers you should choose from.

This all boils down to the motor mounts and header used. Motor placement and header design are the 2 factors that will determine whether a header will fit or not.

when I did my b16 in my EF I had to get a custom exhaust cause the stock header would not bolt up to the stock exhaust, I know this is useless info but I thought I'd share.
