Default B16 with 2.0L pilot head

my sisters bf is helping me search for a motor and he knows this guy that totalled his hatch trying to drift but he had a b16 with low compression pistons, he said the brand of them was called "type R", he wanted to run boost, then he said it had a 2.0L honda pilot motor. I have never heard of this ever i mean ive heard of b20(crv) but nothing like this. soo if this sounds odd to you too let me know but if not please fill me in on the specs of this hybrid, i need as much help as possible and any help is appreciated thanks guys.

Yes, the boyfriend is an idiot. The brand wasnt Type R asnt the brand, just the make. They "could" have been OEM pistons, though they are not low compresion. From the way he is guessing putting a motor together it sounds like he is talking out of his ****. Pilots do use K series motors...

I would stay as far away as possible from this guy.....BTW Pilot's don't use K series they all are V6 J-series. maybe you got confused with the CRV which does use the K...

sounds to me like he is trying to make a dollar out 15 post-its... I hate it when ricers try to talk to you about cars, when they really have no idea what they are talkin about. "An open mind is more useful than an open mouth."
