axles and other misc. parts for for h22a engine swap
I plan on swapping an h22a in my 95 civic ex. i got the basic idea: engine, trans, ecu and HCP mounting kit.
Do I really need all this minor stuff, because it's gonna be real expensive or really hard to find.
b16a radiator
egr solenoid and valve?
90+ accord intermediate shaft and 90-93 integra axles
cable transmission linkage
90 integra ls upper radiator hose
94 Del Sol VTEC Lower radiator hose
98 prelude throttle cable
Knock sensor?
air intake bypass wire
plus having to modify the shifter location in the interior
Do you guys go through all that troble to do these swaps, because it sounds like a lot more work than I imagined? I realize the power gains are just huge, but it seems to be the hardest possible swap to do to my civic.
Thanks for the info. -Swen

Re: axles and other misc. parts for for h22a engine swap (95civic-vtec)
knock sensor will be on the engine.
I'm using my stock CX radiator..seems to be okay.
I used all the stock h22 radiator/heater hoses. Trim to fit.
You've gotta have the cable linkage...otherwise you can't shift.
Stock throttle cable is fine.
Axles, yes you've gotta have custom.
EGR/IAB....just part of the wiring. no biggie.
