Default axle problem!!!!!this is aggrivating

ok here's the situation....
92 cx hatchback
b16a swap
94 del sol tranny/w opm autosport lsd
92 integra halfshaft

here's my problem....changed the axle seal last week now the pass. side axle won't stay
in the tranny...i 've gotten 3 new axles for a 94 integra and they all do the smae thing....i've opened up all the clips on every one....and still the same thing....when it goes in, the inner joint is right on the axle seal so i don't see how it can go in anymore
,but it's like the clip is seating enough for me not to be able to pull it out by hand but when it gets moving it works its way out again...before i changed the seal it worked perfect...but it almost seems like the axle is a little short...there's a little stress on the inner joint but it kinda looks normal.....i'm all out of ideas....i've searched on every forum i can find for answers to this problem if any of you guys have ideas throw them my way cuz this is rediculous.....i 've done quite a few of these and never had a problem like this

-thnx

to run a 94 axles I believe you need a 94-01 halfshaft

Have you used this type of LSD before? If the spline (trans side) seems too short, perhaps try a hybrid axle using a 90+ accord inner spline cup and bearings.

edit:
I had never heard of them before so I looked them up..

"The OPM limited-slip is a patented clutch-type custom made limited-slip differential. We start with a stock diff and remove all the gears and shafts to inspect and clean them. Then machining of the case is performed and the clutch packs are fit. The diff is then re-assembled and a spring block is pressed between the spider gears to put pressure on the side gears."

Sounds sketchy

just so you know autozone axles are ****, the used oem axles I got with my swap last 65k+, I have gone through 3 sets of the AZ axles in the last 20k , one axles didn't even last a week, thats why they have a lifetime warranty.

if you use AZ axles you will be good at changing them quick...lol

what part #'s are you using from AZ, I use #8000 and #8063

good luck

people f*ck around with those axles, buy them and the core they put in there is off another car and thats what you end up with...it sucks...go the junkyard and pull off an axle and have that same axle rebuilt, prob your best bet....or buy a new one from honda

ok so the axle seems to be the right one....but the inner joint still tries to work its way out still.....how far open can i stretch that c clip before it doesn't function properly.....it seem like its in there, but i know it should lock in there better than that

92 integra halfshaft is female
94+ integra halfshaft is male

so if you have 92 halfshaft that means ur prob using that axle which is shorter then 94+ integra hence your issue.

I know i mentioned something about halfshaft earlier in this thread, but that was before I realized he was working on the pass side, so the halfshaft would not effect the pass side axle

The spline is a bit longer on the accord axle, it may work for you. I had a similar problem with my CRV transmission, and the hybrid axle worked perfectly.
