Axle poping out frequently
I just finished my LSvtec, on the 2 days Ive riden it hard (some wheel hop but not much) the right side axle has popped twice, it just stays in the tranny but not all the way in so it doesnt engage. I push it in and it clicks and all.
Is it the retaining ring?? or maybe the trannys diff is busted?? It never did it before with the 2 trannys ive owned (jdm S1 small spline and the one im currently using a usdm hydro LS S80), now all of the sudden it pops them out.
How can I remedy this?? is the clip on the diff or on the axle??
TIA

Re: Axle poping out frequently (jetpilot)
try replacing the clip or pulling it off and spreading it apart a bit. You should have to apply good bit pressure to remove them, how easily do your's remove?

Re: (jetpilot)
sounds like a clip to me.
make sure your motor mounts are good. if you get a little hard side to side taking corners with badd uppers than you could force the ****** out.
my lowers were bad and i snapped my axles.

they are good, the guys at the axle shop said the subframe could be out of shape making the axle work extended.
then I went to the alignment guy and he said it was perfectly fine so I dont know what it could be
