Ok, a couple of my friends and I are putting a JDM H22 in my 5th Gen. When it came time to remove the axles we got stumped. The driver side axle and ext. came out just dandy but the passenger side axle is being GAY! We can't get it to pop out. We have tried everything, from a wrench and hammer, to a crow bar, to a lever and a air chissel, AND a few at the same time. I don't know what else I can do...somebody please tell me there is a button that says "push here to remove" I welcome any Ideas...thanks

 

well the passenger side is the main drive axle so it might be a lil tougher to get out. if your buddy is helping you, one of you pull the spindle outward toward himself while the other hits the axle with a rubber mallet. all you need to do is get it to budge and it will start easing its way out. don't pry out of the tranny til the axle is out of the hub. after years and years of not being loosened the axle get binded pretty good.
