Default Anyone who has put b18c into EK..

If you have preformed a swap on a EK...well 99-00 Si...could I please have your IM to ask you a few(very developed) questions? I am stuck on why I am not getting any spark when my Coil is getting power..any help helps. Thanks in advance. Should have looked more into the wiring before i forked out 5500 on an engine i guess...

I have a 2001 ITR ECU(p73) and i have a 2000 Si eci (P2t) I put the SI ecu in cause i havent got the emmbozilixer taken out of the ITR...I guess I will be using( TRY) THe ITR distributor but i noticed that it isnt even firing...And it also is wired differnt from the SI Dis...If i could get ahold of an Si I guess that would be best...but the money, they are sooo expensive...If i could find a used one...BTW are there any wiring mods I have to do to the fuel in anyway? I know one of my relays is out and hopefully thats why my pump isnt getting power...what a mess..

Doesn't a 2000 Si have an ignition immobilizer??? I'm not sure on this I was just wondering... It seems as tho all your problem is the ignition and if you have everything connected correctly I really see nothing to go wrong. You just used the 2000 Si engine loom on your B18C correct.. I can't really think of what else it would be... Good luck

wow.. u are in a mess... ehehe.. hmm.. ok.. i say.. use the integra dist.. and find a p72.. obd1 gsr ecu or obd2 gsr ecu w/out the immobilizer, i think these can be found up to 98 or 99... i think that would be the better way..
unless u successfully get that itr ecu de immobilized.. ( i have on obd2 prelude ecu.. that i sent to be de-immobilized.. it never worked..) so now i have an obd1 p13. works. and im not sure if an integra ecu or distributor will work with a civic si ecu or distributor..... or vice versa...

Simple question, what engine harness did you use? I hope the 99-00 Si harness.

There for you should be able to run the 99-00 Si ecu and crank the car. If you are doing that and still do not have spark, check your engine grounds.

I had the same problem with my first swap and it was the tranny ground, I forgot to put it back on. Then check the valve cover ground too. If they are fine check the fuses under the hood. If they are fine check the ignition coil pack.

Did a swap a few weeks back and all seemed right but no spark. It was the coil pack. Swapped the dist and it fired right up.

Good luck!!

Oh and you can't use a 92-98 ecu without an ecu harness converter if you are using your 99-00 Si engine harness and you should be.

tranny to chassis ground, next to the upper tranny mount.

yeah, the braided ground wire bolts to the side frame rail near the tranny mount and the other side bolts to a gold colored plate on the tranny. Usually has a orange painted bolt holding it down.

if it does wind up that your B-series coil or ignitor is faulty, simple swap the ingnitor and/or coil from your SOHC distributor over to the b-series distributor to fix it (as long as both distributors are 96-01/OBD2). Those parts are interchangeable between b & d series distributors.
