Have an F20B swap in my 97 Accord LX. Due to CA emissions I have to get it running obd2 in order to get it refereed so the cops cant make me pull my engine if I get my hood popped.

Has anyone run obd2 successfully on a f20b swap? If so, what ECU? Any wiring harness changes or challenges you had to overcome?

looks like I can't fix my IACV and its pretty much JDM and irreplaceable. Also, the vac leak remains mysterious... and despite hearing that the F20B intake mani makes up to 10whp extra, I have a hard time believing it. I'm gonna be replacing it with a H22 IM off a 2000 lude, and the two IM's look almost identical.

I answered my own question anyway... I can do the wiring to make it run with my old F22B2 P0J ECU, especially since I have to change it anyway for the USDM IACV... so just no VTEC for smog purposes. Then I'm either gonna do OBD1 and hondata or aem ems. I guess consider this thread closed.

Anyone ever find out if you can use an obd2 ecu to run an f20b? I live in New York and need to pass emissions testing and run obd2 to pass

I've been running the factory obd2b PCB ecu on my f20b. I wasn't aware that you could still ref a jdm motor with a jdm ecu regardless if they match anymore?
