Anyone with a GSR swap - which AEM intake?
I have a GSR motor in a 2000 Civic hatch. I am trying to get an AEM CAI for it, but as it turns out the hybrid-specific application is not CARB legal (I live in California).
So, I was thinking that a possible workaround would be to get a stock GSR intake (which is CARB legal), but I was not sure whether it fits into a civic engine bay.
Can someone please confirm?
TIA

You could use a short ram intake from a 92-95 Civic...That is what I used when I did my gsr swap in my 99 Civic Sedan...until I got the AEM hybrid cai (I don't live in Cali)

Those of you with the B18C1 swap and a hybrid AEM intake - did any of you have any fitment/rubbing issues in an EK? Mine is rubbing in several locations, and I am talking to AEM about but, but they have not been able to figure it out just yet from my pics. Any help?

Where it's rubbing put a peice of thin rubber...what else do you want to know?

The problem is that it's rubbing really hard, and would chew through the rubber in a matter of days. It's rubbing at a couple of sharp edges.
I just heard back from AEM and they are not sure what's going on, so I am sending the intake back to them tomorrow.
I would still like to hear from anyone else that owns a hybrid AEM and tell me if theirs fit without a probelm.

I have a B16A3 motor from a del sol in my hatchback. I'm using an AEM cold air intake for the del sol VTEC. I have a Neuspeed strut bar, so the intake is kinda rubbing against it. I just ziptied some rubber around the bar.
