Anybody know anything about swapping a JDM D15b
Does anybody know what I need to do wiring wise to drop this motor in? Is anybody running this setup if so is it a powerful sohc motor?

it would depend on what wiring harness you use.
it's just the same as wiring up a regular Z6 motor

The swap candidate is a 92 cx. I heard that they are wired for vtec, but is that from the firewall to the ecu or the whole thing?

yes jdm d15b (VTi version) is a VX block with a P08 (d16z6) head, ECU used is P08
as far as 92 cars they were wired from the shock tower connections (plugs) for vtec
anyways its only 2 wires for vtec (plus one chassis ground), also USDM will need their )2 sensor chenged to 4 wire if using P28...but if you are using P08 JDM VTi ecu one wire 02 is standard there...so no need to change it...
