any one ever here of an H22b1?
like the topic says H22b1 guy said its out of a 97 prelude automatic
where on the engine can i get the right # cauz i've never herd of an H22b1

Nope, even all auto H22 motors are all H22A and there's no H22B out there. If there was, it would be something of an "R" spec motor, like an F20B motor. But until I see it with my own eyes, they're only H22A.

He might be trying to sell you an F 22B1. Its a SOHC VTEC out of 94-97 Accords. I've also heard that the same engine code for JDM is DOHC non-VTEC (similar to the H23) but I haven't been able to verify it as of yet.
