Another Smog Question
Here is another BAR related question. If I put an OBD1 Jdm motor in my car but use all the USDM OBD2 Sensors, ECU, and emissions stuff in, will they fail me because technically my engine is not the same year or newer? Or will they know that the engine is an older engine? My car is a 97 honda civic. Thanks in advance

Re: Another Smog Question (dat_flip)
as long as you put all the sensors on and make it compliant they should not make a deal of it since jdm B18c motors mainly say b18c and not b18c1. you just have to say to them this is a OBD2 motor. for example you have a 96 civic say the motor is a jdm96 gsr motor. just make sure your ecu is meant for a 96-97.
