Already a wire in A17, what to do?
Ok, I've read a jillion times that to wire up the IAB's you have to run the wires from the plug straight to the ECU. My problem is that there is already a wire plugged into A17. Is that slot supposed to be empty or am I supposed to remove it or do I splice into it? That's for the help.

My bad. It's a 93 Civic EX harness in the firewall and a 94 GSR harness on the engine.

its suppose to be a blank pinout if your Ex is 5speed.
Only if its an AUTO EX, then a wire should be in the A17 spot for an auto transmssion related thing.

My bad, AGAIN. It is an auto wiring harness. I'm also doing the auto to manual swap. My mind has been going at a billion miles per hour trying to straighten this stuff out. I'm such a n00b. Alright, so I'll just remove that pin. Thanks

heh...there we go
so yeah, just reuse the A17 pinout location for the IAB and you should be set..

I never wired IABs since I have a B16a, but could'nt you just move the wire on the engine harness at the shock tower to match up with A17 on the shock tower, seems like this would make for ultra clean wiring
