Hey i have a 92 EG with a B18C-R... I have had the swap in my car for about 5,000 miles now. Yesterday all of a sudden i cant go into 2nd or 4th or Reverse... Now its not all the time its just random.. It goes back and forth from happening and being fine... Now the clutch is fine it grabs nice... Its like when your going 10mph or so and you try to put in first and it wont go in thats what it feels like.. Some times it wont come out of gear either... then a mile or so down the road everything will be fine... I looked under the car and everything looks fine... The boot that does from the tranny to the end of the linkage is detached but still everything looks okay... Does anyone have any idea what might be wrong???? Thanks for reading the post.....

check your fluid. make sure ur shiftlinkage isn't bent

As far as i can tell its not bent... Ill try to take a picture of i tomorrow... All my fluids are fine... Shouldnt i have hydro fluid? Im not 100% sure where it is but all the fluids are full... Anything Else?

Drain fluid, fill with GM Synchromesh friction modified. (You can buy this stuff at a chevy dealer)

Thats clutch fluid or tranny fluid.... Sorry im not sure what it is.....

Synchro Mesh is Tranny fluid.

Sounds like you have a bent shift linkage.
