i was driving down the road, i hit 3rd gear but it didn't grab instead grinded like crazy.....suddenly i hear some weird noises like cracking and banging under my car i started to smell transmission fluid, i stopped and looked under, and i saw transmission fluid leaking........the car still runs, i'm able to shift into all gears, and just don't know what the f**k happened?????????? can anyone help?????/

 

i had the same problem. mine was leaking from where the axle goes in. check to see if thats where its at.

 

hopefully syncros arent going.

 

aight i heard a crack.....and i just saw drips and smelt it? do u think my tranny's cracked cuz when it grinded on third the gas kinda went up a little bit and i just heard a pop and just crap flying off and bouncing off under my car..........what's the syncros????????

 

check for a leak
thats number one.
if its not leaking dont worry. you might have burned the clutch and thats what you "smelled"

 

i looked under the car, it was dripping and there was a little puddle........i smelt the old transmission fluid, it goes into gear just fine..........i think i saw like a crack or something i dunno it was late.............
