Advanced h22/civic question??!?
Okay now I think I have a fluid leak. Its from the master clutch cylinder's hardline to where it turns rubber and connects into the tranny.. I remember using the hardine that was already in the civic, but the rubber connector from my accord since the civic one couldnt fit on the tranny fitting. Did anyone else have any issues with this and has anyone upgraded that line to stainless or something else. I wanted to know if anyone had any part numbers off the top of their heads..
RECAP: Fluid seems to be leaking from the rubber line that connects to the O-ring type adapter on the tranny.. Looking to get a replacement that will still work with hardware or maybe upgrade if its worth it..
Thanks in advance..

ghetto fix = locktite... gaurntee it to work. I actually replace all the hard lines from the firewall to the master with stainless. its just looks clean but remember to measure for the engine moveing under accel . give the lines an extra inch or two

Thanks for the reply. The problem is not where the o-ring type connects to the screw in the tranny. Its the rubber hose, since its bent backwards it seemingly has sprung a small slow leak.. What fittings did you use for the clutch line??
-4an I am assuming. And how did you connect it up to the o-ring adapter??

If you're looking for an SS braided line to replace that rubber section, you could try this place:

I *think* this is what you're referring to....

Are you sure it's the hose? The clutch line has some washers that line up the bolt hole and the clutch line...could be not lined up and leaking through the threads...

Well the lines are nice but that is for a civic wont really work in my case. The end that attaches to the hardline is correct, but the other end that attaches to the tranny on the lude is like the fuel line whereas there is a bolt that secures it down.
And yeah I am sure its not the bolt because I had to use the accord line since the civic o-ring (that bolt fits into) was too small to fit into the tranny fitting. The accord line however was shorter cause the line to bend back on itself.. I see that right where it is kinked there is small fluid leakage..

on my car u just took the line off the civic at the salve cylinder and then attached the stock civic line to the prelude slave cylinder....so its all the stock like iin my car...u dont even have to bend it much to make it work and i have had no problems..no leaks etc..haha these things are so hard to explain unless ur there to point at the line.. ...good luck

But I think I understand. Damn too bad I had someone pick up the ole civic engine too. I think I will just have to get a slave cylinder line then hook it up stock like you said..

I barely had to move the hydraulic line as well.
The civic hard line to the civic rubber hose directly goes with the prelude slave cylindar just fine.
