due to the position of the starter, yer gonna have to bend the clutch line. just go real slow and be careful. I use the h22 clutch slave cylinder. I dont know if the civic slave cyl will work...might be worth a try if thats all you've got...

to hook up the hydraulic clutch line. The clutch line does NOT need to be moved too much -- if hardly at all.

I, actually, used the civic hyrdaulic hose from the slave cylinder line.

I took off the hose off of the civic slave cylinder, keeping it on the whole clutch hydraulic line, and the hose was able to screw right onto the h22 slave cylinder line without any issues at all. no custom hosing, or banjo fittings is needed at all.

good luck

if you wish to have pictures, I may be able to take some pictures tomorrow since I am going to be taking a lot by then.

i ised the hard line on the tranny right to the rubber hose off the fire wall and only had to bend the hard line a little and it works fine

I used the stock civic hard line and attached it to the prelude slave cylinder, then you have to bend it just a bit for it to fit perfect. Pretty easy.

You can retain the Civic lines and screw them right into the Prelude slave cylinder. However, you're going to have clearance problems with the radiator fan and the Prelude slave cylinder. A quick fix to that is switch the Civic slave with the Prelude slave. It'll work.

Only thing is that the Civic slave mounting points are off by 1/4" on one hole so you need to drill out one of the mounting holes about 1/4" wider and then the Civic slave cylinder will fit.... that's what I had to do when my Prelude slave cylinder went out. FYI, the Prelude slave cylinder has a 90 degree turn so it's very close to the radiator fan shroud. The Civic slave cylinder has a 30-40 degree bend so there's more clearance between that and the radiator fan shroud.
