hey guys....a buddy of mine just got a ls/vtec done and im a h22 guy myself and have no idea how much hp this setup will put down so i thought you guys might be able to help me out....here is what he has....

B18A1 block
JDM B16A head
11.8:1 compression
CTR intake cam
Fully P&P head with port matched ITR IM
Skunk2 programmed P28
Vortech FPR
all new bearings

i think thats all the stuff that will have to do with the horsepower so that's all i'll list. basically, its a 11.8:1 compression ls/vtec with a very nice head/im. what you guys think it'll put down to the ground? we cant put it on a dyno yet because he hasnt even broke it in yet, hes got 170 miles on it so far. the motor is in a 95 civic dx coupe. any guesses at 1/4 mile times either? thanks a lot guys!

dude lemme explain somthing
EVERY motor reacts diffrently to parts.
if you build 2 engines with the EXACT same parts
they will put down diffrent power.
take it to a dyno and find out
take it to firebird and find out.

 

i realize but there has to be a range that the hp should fall in. dont be an *******...i stated in the original post that i was just looking for a ballpark.
