about to embark on obd2 b18c1 swap in eg last minute questions
first off from what i can remember hte engine harness plug in to the car harness located right infront of hte battery?
being an obd2 car does the alternator harness plug in?
my car is a 92si in canada and from the hydrid boards it is prewired for vtec. onlything i have to wire in is knock sensor?
my swap doesn't come with cat. which cat do i use to bolt up without extending or shortening exhaust?
planning on running a p28 chipped to run b18c but don't know which program to run. any suggestions?
in general anything i should look out for or words of wisdom before i join the dohc side?
thanks alot for all your help.

if you have the whole obd2 swap don't worry about the alt. you will be fine. as well with the dist. and injectors. it will all plug up fine. i would get a chipped p28 from kenji. he can chip the one you have from your si. if you do that don't worry about the knock sensor, it dosen't look for one. hth

--- yes, those are the main engine harness plugs.
being an obd2 car does the alternator harness plug in?
--- um, EG's aren't OBD2 cars, but yes the OBD2 vs OBD1 alternator plugs do differ. If you use an OBD2 integra engine harness in your EG, you won't have to worry about changing that plug or any other plugs for that matter.
my car is a 92si in canada and from the hydrid boards it is prewired for vtec. onlything i have to wire in is knock sensor?
-- that is correct. You can actually re-use your 92si ecu (P28), and have it reprogrammed to be sufficent enough to run a B-series engine. Kenji and I both provide this service btw.
my swap doesn't come with cat. which cat do i use to bolt up without extending or shortening exhaust?
-- hard call, usually when you get a B-series motor in, you take a trip to the muffler shop and get any exhaust system issues taken care of. Although....i think you can reuse your Si cat and it will mate up to the GSR's down pipe without length problems.
planning on running a p28 chipped to run b18c but don't know which program to run. any suggestions?
-- well, no P28 ecu can work the secondary buttterflies in your GSR's intake manifold, that's one shitty thing about P28 ecu's for GSR engines. So, the thing to do (when you can) is pick up a Skunk2 manifold (which is single butterfly). The best program for OBD1 ecu's to this day is the infamous Skunk2 or Mugen program (both the same program with 2 different names).
in general anything i should look out for or words of wisdom before i join the dohc side?
-- yes, don't drive like an idiot when get that B-series in there. People these days who get a swap done, swap out their ego too, for something more aggressive and assholey.....stay away from that pleeeease.

alright, only things I can add are:
- GS-R throttle cable
- GS-R upper and lower radiator hoses; and get 2 of the screw type hose clamps; 'cause the hoses will be a bit big on the Civic rad, but if you crank the clamps the will NOT leak
- '95 Del Sol VTEC a/c compressor mount bracket if you have a/c and want to keep it
