Default 99 dx hatch B16 SirII ?

I have done some searching and I am more or less confused about obd codes.

Is it a bad idea to put a 2nd gen b16 (sirII) into a 99 dx hatch?

OBD1 motor and an OBD2 car.

Should I use an adapter ? If so which one? Is it considering OBD1 to OBD2 or OBD2 to OBD1?

Any added parts I would need for the swap?
What wiring harness? would a stock ex work?

Any good reading or just answers would be great.

You will need an OBD2b to OBD1 ECU jumper harness, probably among other things. I have never performed this swap myself but, I know that you will either need the jumper harness or say a 99-00 Si ECU.
